Julian Speroni signs new contract extension at Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace goalkeeper Julian Speroni has signed a contract extension keeping him at Selhurst Park until the end of next season.

Both player and club have chosen to activate a contractual clause that will ensure the 36-year-old will spend a 12th campaign at the club.

"I've said many times this is my home, I will retire here if I can,'' Speroni said on the club's official website. "I have one more season on my contract and am really enjoying playing in the Premier League.''
