Claudio Bravo: Chile not worried about Argentina's Lionel Messi

Chile are not concerned about whether or not Lionel Messi lines up for Argentina against them in their opening Copa America Centenario match, goalkeeper Claudio Bravo has said.

Bravo, a teammate of Messi's at Barcelona, is confident Chile, who won the tournament on home soil in 2015, have enough to match Argentina -- the side they beat in the final.

"Whether Leo does or doesn't play, nothing is going to change our football," he told reporters.

"Personally, I'd prefer it if he plays because he brings a lot to a game. Knowing Leo, he will want to play, particularly this game, because it's the first match of the tournament.

"But we're not going to change the way we play, we will do what we've always done."

Bravo also expressed confidence in Chile's ability to retain their title and said they will be motivated about doing so.

He added: "We're very hopeful about retaining the title, and you're going to see a Chilean team that is very aggressive."
