Brisbane captain Matt Smith believes the Roar's players must take some responsibility for the A-League club's current plight.

The defending champions are ninth in the 10-team competition after 11 matches with just three wins so far this season, their poor form resulting in Rado Vidosic being moved out of the head coach's role on Tuesday.
