Sven linked with 1860 Munich job

Sven-Goran Eriksson has been tipped to take over at 1860 Munich by a director of the club, following the sacking of manager Reiner Maurer.

Maurer was relieved of his duties on Sunday following a poor run which saw the side take just four points from their last six games. Reserve team coach Alexander Schmidt has been appointed caretaker manager.
