CONCACAF Gold Cup venues confirmed for 2019, semis in Glendale and Nashville

The knockout rounds of the 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup will be held in four different cities before the final in Chicago, the organization announced on Tuesday.

Reliant Stadium in Houston and Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia will host the quarterfinals of the tournament on June 29 and June 30, respectively. State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, will host one semifinal on July 2 and Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee, was chosen as the site of the other on July 3.

The competition will expand to 16 teams for the first time, with all but two games to be held at venues in the United States. Six teams -- the United States, Mexico, Costa Rica, Honduras, Panama and Trinidad & Tobago -- have already qualified, with the United States, Mexico, Costa Rica and Honduras placed into Groups A, B, C and D, respectively.
