          The United States' formation has been a hot-button talking point since the 2014 World Cup. Manager Jurgen Klinsmann has used a 4-4-2 formation in four of the eight friendlies the U.S. has played in 2015 and in the team's opening 2015 Gold Cup victory over Honduras.
