Young Boys struck twice in the second-half of a tense contest to secure the win they needed, 2-0, to leapfrog Sparta Prague and qualify for the Europa League knock-out stages.

The two sides went into the contest knowing the victor would join Napoli in progressing through Group I - although a draw would have been good enough for the visitors.

But it was Guillaume Hoarau who made the difference as he won a late spot-kick having been fouled by Pavel Kaderabek - with the France international dusting himself...

Young Boys brushed aside eliminated Slovan Bratislava 3-1 to remain in the hunt for the next round of the Europa League.

Guillaume Hoarau's early penalty was cancelled out almost immediately by Seydouba Soumah, whose effort was the Slovakian side's first goal in five Group I matches.

But a brace from Yuya Kubo, one in each half, settled matters in the visitors' favour.

Both sides came out quickly, with action at either end before Young Boys went in front in the ninth minute.

Jonathan de Guzman scored a hat-trick as Napoli moved into the top half of Europa League Group I with a comfortable 3-0 home victory over Young Boys.

The Holland international notched a sensational first goal from wide on the left wing to give the Italians the advantage heading into half-time and he doubled up shortly after the hour mark.

The team from Bern offered little in the way of resistance and a lack of concentration allowed De Guzman to claim the match-ball after scoring an easy third goal...
