Wolves' outside hopes of a Championship play-off place received a dent when they were held to a 0-0 draw at Reading.

James Henry created Wolves' best chances throughout, forcing three good saves from home goalkeeper Ali Al Habsi.

Reading rarely fashioned any clear-cut openings, though Oliver Norwood did go close with a long-range effort in the second period.

Wolves had enjoyed the better recent form, with only one defeat in their previous seven matches.

But they had let slip a 2-0 lead against bottom...

Bolton staged a dramatic late comeback to salvage a deserved point in a 2-2 Sky Bet Championship draw against Wolves at Molineux.

Bottom-of-the-table Bolton were trailing 2-0 after a third-minute strike from debutant Joe Mason and a 77th-minute goal from substitute James Henry.

But their battling qualities shone through as Wellington Silva reduced the arrears eight minutes from time before Dean Moxey deflected home Stephen Dobbie's 30-yard free-kick in the 88th minute.

Wolves boss Kenny Jackett insisted after the 1-1 draw at QPR that his side can still make the Sky Bet Championship play-offs - as long as he can make some signings in the transfer window.

Sebastian Polter put Rangers ahead at Loftus Road with a second-minute header, but the visitors hit back with a fortuitous equaliser two minutes into the second half.

James Henry's shot deflected in off both QPR centre-backs, hitting first Grant Hall and then Nedum Onuoha.

Wolves dominated much of the second period...

Cardiff midfielder Craig Noone eased the pressure on manager Russell Slade as his double helped to secure a 3-1 Sky Bet Championship victory at in-form Wolves.

The Welsh club's chairman Mehmet Dalman had revealed prior to the game that Slade was "under scrutiny" after City had slipped away from the play-off race - and the win was also a well-timed boost for a side who had been hit by a transfer embargo on Friday.

Noone opened the scoring in the 28th minute and then doubled Cardiff's advantage eight...

New Wolves winger Michal Zyro enjoyed a dream home debut as his two early goals helped earn Kenny Jackett's side a 3-2 Sky Bet Championship victory against Fulham at Molineux.

Poland international Zyro, who joined Wolves from Legia Warsaw in a B£350,000 deal this winter, struck twice in the first 13 minutes after being pushed into a central striking role following the departure of Benik Afobe to Bournemouth on Sunday.

Fulham did reduce the arrears through Lasse Vigen Christensen in the 24th minute,...
