League One champions Bristol City completed a memorable campaign in style by hammering Walsall 8-2 at Ashton Gate, helped by a hat-trick from centre-back Aden Flint.

The visitors led through Jordy Hiwula's 12-minute shot, but City were ahead within nine minutes as Flint volleyed an equaliser and Jay Emmanuel-Thomas slotted home a penalty after handball by Kieron Morris.

Walsall showed plenty of enterprise to level before the break, with Hiwula shooting his second through the legs of Luke Ayling after...

Walsall's top scorer Tom Bradshaw scored both goals in the 2-0 win over Oldham to reach his target of 20 for the season.

The result extend the Saddlers' unbeaten run to seven games, and despite an improved second half Oldham never looked like saving the game.

Walsall pushed forward from the start and took the lead in the 18th minute when Kieron Morris slid a neat pass through for Bradshaw to beat the offside trap and chip goalkeeper Joel Coleman as he rushed off his line.

Ben Gladwin scored two penalties as Swindon were held to a 3-3 draw at home by mid-table Walsall, all-but ending their slender hopes of automatic promotion.

The faltering Robins fought back from 2-0 down to level at 2-2 only to fall behind again before Southampton loanee Jordan Turnbull salvaged a point nine minutes from time.

A mistake from Swindon goalkeeper Wes Foderingham, allowing Kieron Morris' tame shot to slip through his gloves in the 18th minute, setting the tone for a topsy-turvy evening.

Tom Bradshaw's late effort extended Walsall's unbeaten run to five games as they fought back to earn a 1-1 draw at Crewe.

Bradshaw cancelled out Marcus Haber's early header for the Railwaymen, who are now without a win in five games and still in relegation trouble, although they have edged two points clear of the drop zone.

Haber gave Crewe a promising start despite appearing to waste a one-on-one by hammering his shot against a post. But the striker was on hand to head home after Nicky Ajose kept...

Young striker Jordy Hiwula scored two goals as Walsall virtually assured their League One safety with a 5-0 win over struggling Crawley at the Banks's Stadium.

The 20-year-old, on loan from Manchester City, took his tally for the Saddlers to six in their biggest win of the season which sent the Red Devils deeper into relegation trouble.

Walsall dominated throughout and took the lead in the 16th minute when Kieron Morris slipped a neat pass through for Hiwula to drill the ball past the advancing goalkeeper...
