Wolfsburg seal deal for Cologne midfielder Yannick Gerhardt

Wolfsburg have signed Cologne midfielder Yannick Gerhardt on a five-year contract.

Gerhardt, 22, made his under-21 debut for Germany last season and played 29 times for Cologne as they finished ninth in the Bundesliga.

"Yannick is a young player with great potential," Wolfsburg sporting director Klaus Allofs told the club's official website.

Wolfsburg's Andre Schurrle not for sale despite Borussia Dortmund links

Andre Schurrle scored nine league goals for Wolfsburg after the winter break despite the club's struggles.

Wolfsburg have said Andre Schurrle is not for sale despite speculation linking the forward with Borussia Dortmund.

Schurrle, 25, returned to Bundesliga after 18 months at Chelsea in January 2015 but has only found form in the last six months.

There had been suggestions that the Germany international could be part of a clear-out after Wolfsburg ended the season in eighth, and Schurrle said he would assess his future after Euro 2016 amid links with clubs including Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.

Schalke-bound Naldo says Wolfsburg did not fight for him

Naldo will be leaving in the summer.

Wolfsburg defender Naldo insists the club did not do enough to keep him as he prepares to join domestic rivals Schalke on a free transfer.

Naldo is set to leave after four years at Wolfsburg as the club finished eighth and failed to make it into Europe. But, in an interview with kicker, Wolfsburg sporting executive Klaus Allofs voiced his disappointment with the defender's decision.

"We thought we'd continue working with Naldo in the next years," he told the outlet. But speaking to Wolfsburger Allgemeine...

Josuha Guilavogui has said he wants to lead the club back into the Champions League.

Midfielder Josuha Guilavogui has signed a three-year deal at Wolfsburg, the club he joined on loan from Atletico Madrid in 2014.

Guilavogui, 25, has missed only seven Bundesliga games since his move, and Wolfsburg have now exercised an option to buy in their two-year loan contract with Atletico.

"We are delighted to have signed Josuha on a permanent transfer," sporting executive Klaus Allofs was quoted as saying on the official Wolfsburg website.

"Over the past couple of years, he has proven that...

Wolfsburg's Andre Schurrle, Julian Draxler to decide future after Euros

Andre Schurrle and Julian Draxler impressed in the 3-1 victory over Stuttgart on Saturday.

Andre Schurrle and Julian Draxler have remained coy on their futures at Wolfsburg after a disappointing 2015-16 campaign.

Wolfsburg finished runners-up in the Bundesliga last season as well as winning the DFB Pokal but, with star man Kevin De Bruyne leaving for Manchester City last summer, they had to settle for eighth place this time around.

The club's sporting director, Klaus Allofs, has said there could be an overhaul of the squad ahead of the new season, and there have been suggestions that...
