Pescara have confirmed the appointment of Zdenek Zeman for a second spell as coach.
Zeman replaces Massimo Oddo, who was relieved of his duties earlier this week with the club rooted to the bottom of the Serie A table.
The 69-year-old returns to the club he guided into the top flight for the first time in 20 years in 2011-12 season before leaving for Roma, where he lasted only eight months.
"I never regretted leaving five years ago -- nobody would turn Roma down, " he told a news conference on Friday.

PESCARA, Italy -- Club president Daniele Sebastiani says he will leave Pescara at the end of the year after two of his cars were set on fire.
Pescara lost 6-2 at Lazio on Sunday and in the early hours of Tuesday morning Sebastiani's cars, which were parked in his driveway, were set alight.
Preliminary investigations have revealed it was arson and police are examining footage from security cameras.
Sebastiani told regional daily Il Centro: "I'm outraged, at the end of the year I'm leaving the club."
