Fiorentina celebrated a a big win over defending Serie A champs Juventus on Sunday.

Fiorentina put a dent in Juventus' title charge with a 2-1 win at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.

Nikola Kalinic and Federico Chiesa fired Fiorentina in front with goals in either half and, although Gonzalo Higuain got Juve back into it, the Serie A leaders could not find an equaliser.

Kalinic opened the scoring in the 37th minute when a long ball forward fell to Federico Bernardeschi, who slipped the ball forward to the Croatian down the right channel.

Pescara's Alberto Aquilani loaned to Sassuolo until end of season

Alberto Aquilani's previous clubs include Sporting Lisbon, Fiorentina, AC Milan and Juventus.

Sassuolo have signed Alberto Aquilani from Serie A rivals Pescara on loan until the end of the season.

Aquilani, 32, has been drafted in as cover for a side which was decimated by injuries in the first half of the season and will be without their captain Francesco Magnanelli for the remainder of the 2016-17 campaign.

Former Liverpool midfielder Alberto Aquilani will be allowed to leave Pescara in January, the Serie A club have announced.

Aquilani, 32, only joined Pescara at the end of August on a free transfer and has gone on to make nine appearances for the Biancazzurri.

Aquilani has been left out of Massimo Oddo's squad to face Palermo on Thursday and it appears a move away from Stadio Adriatico is imminent.
