Toulouse manager Pascal Dupraz gives inspirational teamtalk

We're not sure if Toulouse manager Pascal Dupraz has seen Any Given Sunday, but he did a good impression of Al Pacino's character with an inspirational teamtalk ahead of last weekend's final game in the French season.

When Dupraz took over as Toulouse boss with 10 games left, his team were second bottom in Ligue 1 and 10 points from safety. On Saturday, they completed a miraculous escape from relegation after picking up 18 points from a possible 30.

After seeing some behind-the-scenes footage ahead...

Toulouse secured their Ligue 1 status for another year in dramatic fashion as they came from behind twice to beat Angers 3-2.

With Ligue 2 football beckoning, Martin Braithwaite and Yann Bodiger scored a goal each in the final 12 minutes to hand La Tefece a memorable win, sending Reims down in their place.

Billy Ketkeophomphone had given the hosts an early lead before Wissam Ben Yedder levelled after the break, with Said Benrahma restoring Angers' lead.

The visitors got off to the worst possible start...

Toulouse moved out of Ligue 1's bottom three for the first time since October thanks to a slender 1-0 win over already-relegated Troyes.

Substitute Oscar Trejo's strike early in the second-half proved enough for Pascal Dupraz's side as they extended their current run of decent form which has seen them lose just once in their previous six.

Defeat for the visitors, their tenth in eleven matches, wraps up a woeful season on the road for Mohamed Bradja's side who have long since been preparing for a rapid...

French courts re-open Andre-Pierre Gignac transfer probe - report

ESPN FC's Jose Antonio Rodriguez and Leon Lecanda review Club America's 2-1 victory over Tigres, winning the CONCACAF Champions League for a second consecutive year.
Tigres defeat Pumas 4-2 on penalties, after a back and forth affair, to win 2015 Liga MX Apertura finals.

An investigation into France international Andre-Pierre Gignac's transfer to Marseille in 2010 has been reopened, according to reports.

French satirical weekly, Le Canard Enchaine, has reported that French courts are again probing the controversial 2010 transfer for alleged fraud.

Last year, several key figures were held for questioning in relation to the investigation, Reuters reported.

Judicial sources at that time confirmed that a dozen people including agents as well as individuals close...

St Etienne missed out on the chance to go second in Ligue 1 as they were held to a 0-0 draw by Toulouse at the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard.

Looking to secure Champions League football on the back of five straight league wins, Christophe Galtier's side were lucky not to come off worse as Wissam Ben Yedder missed a first-half penalty for the visitors before ASSE defender Loic Perrin was sent off late on.

Toulouse came flying out of the blocks and were offered the perfect opportunity for an early goal when...
