Alexandre Pato left AC Milan for Corinthians in 2013.

Former AC Milan forward Alexandre Pato has blamed the Serie A club for all the injury problems he had in Italy.

Pato, 25, who now plays for Sao Paulo, made 150 appearances for the Rossoneri in five-and-a-half years, scoring 63 goals.

Brazilian defender Douglas joins Barcelona from Sao Paulo

Barcelona have signed defender Douglas Pereira from Sao Paulo for 4 million Euros, on a five-year deal.

Barcelona have completed the signing of Brazilian defender Douglas, the club have announced.

The 24-year-old signed a five-year deal on Friday after a four million euros (3.2 million pounds) move from Sao Paulo. The fee could rise to 5.5 million euros (4.4 million pounds) depending on the number of games he plays.

The deal was agreed earlier this week and, after passing a medical, Douglas was able to put pen to paper.
