Goalkeeper Lawrence Vigouroux has left Liverpool to join English third-tier side Swindon Town on a season-long loan, the club said on Tuesday.

DONE DEAL: Lawrence Vigouroux joins on loan from Liverpool

Vigouroux was on trial at Swindon and played for them against the Merseyside club in their preseason fixture on Sunday.

The 21-year-old joins fellow youngsters Jordan Williams and Kevin Stewart at the County Ground.

QPR raid Swindon for Massimo Luongo and Ben Gladwin

Australian international Massimo Luongo will join QPR next season.

Swindon midfielder Massimo Luongo has become Chris Ramsey's first permanent signing at QPR as they prepare for life in the Championship next term.

The 22-year-old has agreed terms on a three-year deal at Loftus Road and has left the Robins for an undisclosed fee.

Later on Thursday afternoon, Rangers announced that Luongo's Swindon colleague Ben Gladwin had also moved to Loftus Road on a three-year contract.

Aston Villa are in advanced talks to sign Australia international Massimo Luongo from Swindon, sources have told ESPN FC.

Villa boss Tim Sherwood was present to watch the midfielder on Monday night as Swindon reached the League One playoff final with a 7-6 aggregate victory over Sheffield United.

Sherwood had worked with Luongo during his time in charge of Tottenham's academy and has retained a keen interest in the 22-year-old.
