Renato Sanches, on loan at Swansea City from Bayern Munich, is unlikely to make another Premier League appearance.

Renato Sanches is unlikely to feature for Swansea City again this season as he has not sufficiently recovered from a hamstring injury, manager Carlos Carvalhal said.

The midfielder, on loan from Bayern Munich, has not played since the fourth-round FA Cup draw against Notts County on Jan. 27.

Sanches travelled to Bayern to continue his recovery in February and returned to Swansea on Tuesday, but Carvalhal said he still needs more recovery time in training in order to pass fit -- and that's not likely...

Renato Sanches could feature for Swansea City at some point during their final five games.

Renato Sanches is expected to return to Swansea City next week and could feature in the run-in once he recovers from a hamstring injury, manager Carlos Carvalhal has said.

Sanches left Swansea in February to rehabilitate the injury at parent club Bayern Munich but has yet to return to Wales or pass fit.

Carvalhal said last week that Sanches was expected to return this week, but he said on Thursday that he had since been told by Bayern that the midfielder needed a final scan before he was cleared...

Carlos Carvalhal has provided plenty of wise words while trying to turn around Swansea City's season.

Swansea boss Carlos Carvalhal says he is "completely relaxed'' about whatever the future holds for him.

The Swans' Portuguese manager is reluctant to talk about life beyond Premier League survival, which he says is his sole focus.
