Stevenage boss Graham Westley will delay finalising his plans for the visit of Exeter after a sickness bug swept through the Boro squad this week.

Midfielder Charlie Lee (flu) is among several players who are struggling with illness but at least one piece of good news for Westley sees the expected return from injury of Darius Charles, who missed last weekend's defeat at Newport with a knock.

Forwards Calvin Zola and Adam Marriott are making progress with their respective ankle and hamstring injuries...

Aaron O'Connor scored his seventh goal of the season before being sent off as Newport County beat Stevenage 2-0.

The striker grabbed his fifth in five games before being dismissed in injury time for the Exiles.

Defender Darren Jones got County's second as Justin Edinburgh's side chalked up a fifth home win.

After a scrappy opening, the game finally came to life when Stevenage midfielder Charlie Lee tested Exiles goalkeeper Jamie Stephens with a shot from 20 yards.

But it was the home side who struck...

Padraig Amond came off the bench to head a late equaliser as Morecambe rescued a 1-1 draw at Stevenage.

Simon Walton's penalty just after the hour mark looked to have earned the Boro their sixth win in seven home games but the Shrimps, having created several chances, were worth their point.

Morecambe created the better openings in a tight first half with Amond being put through by Paul Mullin only to be denied by a good block by Stevenage goalkeeper Chris Day.

The Boro broke the deadlock when David...

Top scorer Marc Richards bagged the only goal of the game as Northampton beat Stevenage 1-0 at Sixfields.

The Cobblers started brightly with Darren Carter having an effort blocked and Kaid Mohamed off target from the edge of the box.

Top scorer Richards broke the deadlock in the 20th minute with his ninth goal of the season. Stewart Murdoch exchanged passes with Chris Hackett on the left before crossing for Richards to sweep the ball home from 12 yards.

Richards should have doubled Northampton's advantage...
