Dagenham will be without the suspended Matt McClure for Saturday's home Sky Bet League Two contest against Stevenage, but have fellow forward Jamie Cureton back available.

McClure serves a one-game ban after last weekend's clash with his old side Wycombe saw him score and then get sent off in a 1-1 draw that kept the Daggers at the bottom of the table.

Cureton missed that fixture but, following a scan on his ankle, is now deemed fit and ready to step in for McClure.

Teddy Sheringham racked up his first win as manager at the fifth attempt as Stevenage beat Hartlepool 2-0.

Pools, with four wins from four this season, never got going and goals from Fraser Franks and Brett Williams secured a first win of the season for the former England striker.

Charlie Lee scuffed a shot wide from close range early on after being played in by Rohdell Gordon. Pools then worked an opening on the edge of the area but Michael Woods allowed the ball to run through to keeper Chris Day.

Three goals in 16 second-half minutes earned Leyton Orient a 3-0 win over Stevenage at Brisbane Road.

Jay Simpson opened the scoring after 74 minutes when he rose to head home a left-wing cross from Dean Cox.

Orient doubled their lead nine minutes later when summer signing Blair Turgott opened his account with a wonderful strike from 18 yards, following good work from Sean Clohessy.

On the stroke of full-time, another substitute and pre-season signing Ollie Palmer scored his first goal for the club...

Mark Hughes' injury time goal rescued a point for Stevenage as they drew 2-2 at Newport.

Second-half goals from Scott Boden and Aaron Collins looked to have given Terry Butcher his first win as Exiles boss but Hughes' 91st minute strike earned Teddy Sheringham's side a point.

It came after Boro's 18-year-old striker Dipo Akinyemi had scored his first goal for the club in the first half.

The visitors took the lead after 39 minutes when County defender Kieran Parselle misjudged a hopeful punt over the...

Jay Tabb booked Ipswich's place in the second round of the Capital One Cup after a narrow 2-1 victory over Teddy Sheringham's plucky Stevenage side.

The midfielder rolled the ball into an empty net to cap a fine 76th-minute move from the hosts after Stevenage had threatened to cause an upset thanks to Christophe Berra's first-half own goal.

Youngster Josh Yorwerth powered home an equaliser in the 55th minute before Tabb grabbed the winner.

The game ended in controversy when the visitors thought they...
