Faissal El Bakhtaoui hit his 20th goal of the season as Dunfermline got back on the winning trail, 3-0 at Stenhousemuir.

The runaway League One leaders had gone four games without a victory in all competitions prior to this, but El Bakhtaoui's strike and a second-half brace from Andy Geggan put that right.

Dunfermline had been the better side when they opened the scoring 41 minutes in. Michael Moffat put the ball in from the flank and found Moroccan El Bakhtaoui who did the rest.

Geggan settled things...

Stenhousemuir remain sixth in the Ladbrokes League One table after a 0-0 draw at home to bottom side Brechin.

Mark Gilhaney shot narrowly off target for the hosts early on but Brechin also had their moments with Robert Thomson testing Graham Bowman in the Stenhousemuir goal.

Andy Jackson then fired wide for Brechin while Lukas Culjak and Lewis Spence also wasted chances for the visitors.

However, Brechin were thankful to keeper Graeme Smith who saved well from Alan Cook to keep the scores level at half-time.

Ayr welcome back Gerry McLauchlan from suspension and fit again Jamie Adams for the visit of Stenhousemuir to Somerset Park with Brian Gilmour and Robbie Crawford in contention for starting roles after knocks.

A knee injury keeps Paddy Boyle out while an ankle problem will keep Ross Docherty sidelined, as manager Ian McCall looks for his men to build on last weekend's 3-1 win at Albion Rovers.

McCall said: "Everyone worked their socks off to get that win and we simply have to produce another performance...

Forfar remain without a league win since September 12 after Stephen Stirling's first-half goal clinched a 1-0 victory for Stenhousemuir.

Forfar started the match brightly but failed to convert any of their early chances, with Iain Campbell, Michael Travis and Andy Ryan all testing Stenhousemuir keeper Graham Bowman.

The breakthrough came in first-half injury time when Mark Gilhaney found Stirling and he beat Darren Hill for his first league goal for the club.

Stenhousemuir looked poised to see off Brechin - for a first home win since October - before the match was abandoned at half-time.

The Warriors were only 1-0 up but controlled affairs against their rock-bottom opponents. That was until ever-thickening snow made further progress impossible.

Colin McMenamin grabbed the solitary strike after 38 minutes, poking smartly past Graeme Smith, but his effort will sadly be wiped from the record books.

The striker relished the assignment in rough conditions and...
