Tempers flared when Bucharest rivals Dinamo and Steaua met again at the start of May.

Watford complete signing of Giedrius Arlauskis from Steaua Bucuresti

Giedrius Arlauskis has won 18 caps for Lithuania.

Premier League new boys Watford have announced the signing of Steaua Bucuresti goalkeeper Giedrius Arlauskis.

Arlauskis, 27, moves to Vicarage Road after winning the Romanian title with Steaua this season.

Arlauskis has played in the Champions League and Europa League for Steaua, Rubin Kazan and Unirea Urziceni.

Steaua Bucharest stripped of right to use name and colours in military row

Steaua, seen at home to Ludogorets, have lost the right to use their name after a court ruling.

Romanian champions Steaua Bucharest have been told they can use their name and colours until Dec. 15 following a court ruling in favour of the Romanian military.

Officials at the defence ministry imposed the deadline on Steaua after a court ruling last week said the club, established as an army side in June 1947, had lost their right to use a military identity.
