St Johnstone nicked all three points when Brian Graham came off the bench to score the only goal on his debut after joining the club on loan from Dundee United.

The winner, which came four minutes from the final whistle, was a bit harsh on Motherwell who slumped to their fourth consecutive defeat despite looking the more likely to score in the second half.

Motherwell gave a debut to on-loan Mark O'Brien and the Derby player was quickly into action as Saints, aiming to build on their win over Aberd...

Steven MacLean went from villain to hero with the winning goal for St Johnstone in the Scottish Premiership match against Aberdeen at McDiarmid Park.

The Saints striker hit the outside of the post when clean through on goal in the first half and Gary McDonald also missed a golden chance for the Perth side before Dons defender Andrew Considine hit the bar with a header.

Accies lost their opening game of the season against Inverness but have since bounced back with back to back wins over St Mirren and St Johnstone.

Saints were able to name Dave ...

Celtic began the defence of their Scottish Premiership title with a 3-0 win over St Johnstone at McDiarmid Park but not without some help and some controversy.

After a dismal and goalless first-half, a horror mistake by Saints defender Steven Anderson when he allowed himself to be dispossessed by Kris Commons allowed Anthony Stokes to fire the visitors ahead.

To the anger of the Saints players and fans, skipper Dave Mackay was shown a straight red card in the 75th minute by referee John Beaton for...
