Three observations from Chelsea's 1-0 win against Sporting CP in Lisbon.

1. Blues miss clear chances but will take win

Maximum points for Chelsea, but from the minimum margin. In that, this 1-0 win away to Sporting recalled so many of last season's results, but it should really have been a further emphasis of their evolution in this campaign.

There's no escaping it: this should have been a rout, and it was really only goalkeeper Rui Patricio who prevented that. Chelsea regularly ripped Sporting apart...
