Luis Hernandez is poised to join Premier league champions Leicester.

Leicester City have agreed a deal to sign Sporting Gijon defender Luis Hernandez on a free transfer, sources close to the player have told ESPN FC.

Earlier this month, centre-back Hernandez revealed he would leave Gijon when his contract expired at the end of the season, and sources have said he is poised to join the Premier League champions.

Leicester have been tracking the 27-year-old, who can also play at right-back, for several months.

Barcelona's Alen Halilovic spent last season with Sporting Gijon and could now be headed to Valencia.

Barcelona starlet Alen Halilovic is close to joining Valencia on loan for the 2016-17 season, the young Croatian's agent has told Spanish radio.
