Santos' Lucas Lima weighs offer in Chinese League

Lucas Lima said he wouldn't rule out playing in China.

Brazil midfielder Lucas Lima is currently negotiating a new deal with Brazilian club Santos, but has not ruled out a move to either the Chinese League or Europe, according to his agent Wagner Ribeiro.

Lima is in Brazil's squad for the World Cup qualifying matches on Oct. 6 and 11 against Bolivia and Venezuela.

Inter Milan close in on Gabriel 'Gabigol' Barbosa and Joao Mario signings

ESPN FC's Gabriel Marcotti reacts to Inter's reportedly "imminent" signings of Gabriel Barbosa and Joao Mario.

Gabriel "Gabigol" Barbosa has landed in Milan ahead of a proposed move to Inter Milan from Santos, with Joao Mario's loan move from Sporting Lisbon also close to completion.

Gabigol, 19, starred for Brazil at the Olympic Games this summer and arrived at Milan's Malpensa airport on Friday afternoon on a flight from Sao Paulo.

Santos' Gabriel Barbosa says decision will be made on his future 'soon'

Gabriel Barbosa has made four appearances for Brazil.

Reported Chelsea, Barcelona and Juventus target Gabriel Barbosa has hinted he could be set to leave Santos by saying "soon you will know something."

Barbosa, 19, scored on Saturday as Santos beat Ponte Preta to take his tally in the current Brazilian season to five goals in 10 appearances.

He told a postmatch news conference: "I played as if it was my last game here. Soon you will know something."

Flamengo topple Corinthians, win third Copa Sao Paulo Juniors title

Flamengo toppled defending champion Corinthians 4-3 in a penalty shootout to win the Copa Sao Paulo juniors tournament on Monday.

The victory marked the Rio de Janeiro club's third triumph in the prestigious under-20 tournament. Corinthians were in search of their 10th title.

Cruzeiro release former Brazil striker Leandro Damiao

Former Brazil international forward Leandro Damiao is leaving Cruzeiro.

Cruzeiro have not renewed the contracts of former Brazil international forwards Leandro Damiao and Julio Baptista, the club announced on Wednesday.

Damiao, 26, was a reported target of Tottenham in 2011-12 after featuring for the Selecao in its 2012 Olympics campaign. Julio Baptista, 34, made 48 appearances for the national team and spent time at Real Madrid, Arsenal, Sevilla and Sao Paulo among others.

In addition, the club announced the departure of midfielder Charles and right-back Ceara.
