Shandong Luneng overcame the absence of Graziano Pelle to notch up a late 3-2 win over Henan Jianye thanks to a brace in the final 10 minutes from striker Diego Tardelli.

Pelle was ruled out of the game due to illness but Shandong took the lead through Wu Xinghan's glancing header after just three minutes.

Shanghai Shenhua-Shandong Luneng postponed after Hongkou Stadium fire

Hongkou Stadium was damaged by a fire last month.

Shanghai Shenhua's Chinese Super League clash with Shandong Luneng, which was scheduled to be played this weekend, has been postponed due to ongoing repair work at Hongkou Stadium.

The venue was damaged in a fire in late March and the CSL has delayed the meeting between the two teams until Sept. 19 to allow repairs to be carried out on the stadium's electrical circuits.

Shandong Luneng suffered their first defeat of the Chinese Super League season on Friday evening as Felix Magath's side were downed by big-spending Shanghai SIPG, with goals from Hulk and Wei Shihao securing a 2-1 win for Andre Villas-Boas' side.
