Chelsea's under-19 squad became European champions on Monday by defeating Shakhtar Donetsk 3-2 in the UEFA Youth League final.

Izzy Brown scored from close range in the first half to provide Chelsea's opener in Switzerland, only for Shakhtar to level through Andreas Christensen.

Chelsea took control after half-time with two goals in the first 10 minutes as tournament top scorer Dominic Solanke found the net and Brown added his second from 20 yards.

Dominic Solanke has impressed for Chelsea in the tournament.

The winner of the second edition of the UEFA Youth League will be decided in Nyon, Switzerland this weekend. On Friday, Chelsea will face Roma and Shakhtar Donetsk will square off against Anderlecht in the semifinals, while on Monday the two winning sides will compete for the trophy.
