Orlando City SC end Ganso talks, confirm lawsuit against Sao Paulo

Sao Paulo midfielder Paulo Henrique Ganso won't be heading to Orlando.

Orlando City have broken off negotiations with Sao Paulo for midfielder Paulo Henrique Ganso, and have announced they are suing the Brazilian outfit for non-payment of money owed in the loan deal that sent Kaka to Brazil last year.

The MLS franchise confirmed the end of negotiations, and subsequent lawsuit, via statement on Thursday morning.

Corinthians president Roberto de Andrade said he "prays day and night" that he can sell former AC Milan forward Alexandre Pato, who is currently on loan at Sao Paolo.

Sao Paulo appoint Juan Carlos Osorio as manager

Sao Paulo have named Juan Carlos Osorio as their new coach.

SAO PAULO -- Brazilian club Sao Paulo has confirmed that it has signed Colombian coach Juan Carlos Osorio for the next two seasons.

Osorio had been with Colombian club Atletico Nacional since 2012, where he won six titles.

The 53-year-old coach previously managed Colombia's Once Caldas and worked for the Chicago Fire and the New York Red Bulls in the Major League Soccer. He also coached Puebla in Mexico and was an assistant coach at Premier League side Manchester City for five seasons at the beginning...

Muricy Ramalho steps down as coach of Sao Paulo due to health concerns

Muricy Ramalho was in his third stint with Brazilian giants Sao Paolo.

SAO PAULO -- Sao Paulo coach Muricy Ramalho says he is leaving the struggling Brazilian club because of health reasons.

Ramalho met with Sao Paulo officials on Monday and announced he was leaving because he needs time "to take care of my health." The 59-year-old Ramalho reportedly has been nursing a stomach problem and also needs surgery to remove his gallbladder.
