Former Colombia goalkeeper Faryd Mondragon was hospitalised on Tuesday.

Former Colombia goalkeeper Faryd Mondragon, who became the oldest player to play at a World Cup in 2014, was taken to hospital on Tuesday suffering from what reports said was a "metabolic imbalance."

The Valle del Lili hospital in Cali, Mondragon's hometown, said he was "in good condition and under medical observation," although it did not say when he might be released.
