Dynamo Dresden fans cheer ahead of the DFB Pokal victory at home to RB Leipzig.

RB Leipzig have slammed Dynamo Dresden fans as "tasteless" after a severed cow's head was thrown from the stands during Saturday's DFB Pokal clash.

The top-flight newcomers were involved in one of three games which went to a penalty shoot-out, but a miss from Dominik Kaiser cost Ralph Hasenhuttl a winning start to life in charge of the ambitious Bundesliga newcomers against Dynamo Dresden in the battle of two teams from the former East Germany.

Second-division Nurnberg and Arminia Bielefeld won their...

Naby Keita spoke with Arsenal's Arsene Wenger before RB Leipzig move

Naby Keita left RB Salzburg this summer to join RB Leipzig.

Guinea midfielder Naby Keita says he turned down an approach from Arsenal despite a personal phone call from Arsene Wenger before joining RB Leipzig instead.

Keita, a highly rated 21-year-old who moved to the Bundesliga from Austrian club RB Salzburg this summer, told Die Welt that Manchester City and Liverpool were also interested in him but that Wenger was the only manager he had talked to.

"I only had contact with Arsene Wenger, who spoke French to me," Keita said.

In the end he said that Leipzig...
