Barcelona cruise in Copa del Rey

Barcelona have one foot in the round of 16 of the Copa del Rey after cruising to a 4-1 victory over Cartagena in the first-leg of their round of 32 clash.

Real Madrid and Barcelona have been fined for breaching rules on the sale of TV rights to show their domestic league and cup matches.

Barcelona are to appeal a fine of 3.6 million euros imposed by Spain’s competition authority due to a TV rights deal signed before the current board took charge at the Camp Nou.
