Colin McMenamin's 16th goal of the season secured Stenhousemuir's place in League One next season after a 1-1 draw with Queen's Park in the play-off final second leg.

Having carried a 1-0 advantage over from the first game, Stenny made a great start through McMenamin when he headed in Paul McMullan's cross in just the third minute.

However goalkeeper Greg Fleming was called into action after Sean Burns' deflected shot was heading for the goal.

The visitors grabbed an equaliser just before the hour mark...

Stenhousemuir look in pole position to stay in Scottish League One after a 1-0 first-leg victory over Queen's Park at Hampden Park.

The Warriors, who finished ninth in the third tier, had the better of their League Two opponents for the majority of the game but had to settle for a slender advantage given to them by Jamie McCormack's second-half strike.

The visitors could have been out of sight had it not been for Queen's Park goalkeeper Willie Muir who made a string of fine saves, not least from a...

Simon Murray bagged a brace as 10-man Arbroath came from two goals down to earn a 2-2 draw with Queen's Park in their Scottish League One semi-final first leg at Gayfield.

The opening exchanges created little in the way of clear-cut chances before Queen's went ahead when Bryan Wharton climbed highest to head home Sean Burns' corner in the 18th minute.

And things got worse for the hosts when Kieran McWalter was dismissed for a two-footed challenge on Burns.

The Spiders made the extra man count in the...

Queen's Park will go into the play-offs without a win in three matches after finishing off the regular season with a 2-0 defeat at Clyde.

Goals in each half from Steven McDougall and Brian McQueen saw the Bully Wee end the campaign with back-to-back victories.

Scott Durie and Mark McLaughlin had efforts just off target early on before Durie again went close with a header that sailed narrowly over the crossbar after half an hour.

The breakthrough arrived four minutes later when, following a Billy Robb...

Queen's Park maintained their eight-point advantage over third-placed Arbroath with a 1-1 draw at home to East Stirling.

East Stirling midfielder Luke Donnelly hit the woodwork from a tight angle in the opening stages and Pat Slattery was only inches away from heading in the opener for Queen's Park in a lively start.

The home side opened the scoring in the 28th when Ciaran McElroy cheekily nutmegged Jon Tully to set up Slattery and he fired home.

Queen's Park should have doubled their advantage shortly...
