Iain Flannigan's late strike saw Alloa claim a 2-1 victory over Queen's Park at Hampden.

After a goalless first-half, Ross Millen gave Queen's Park the lead after 54 minutes when the hosts were awarded a penalty. Millen stepped up to slot past Neil Parry in the Alloa goal.

But the visitors equalised with 10 minutes remaining as Grieg Spence scored a penalty of his own.

The Wasps completed the comeback with four minutes remaining as Flannigan popped up to snatch the winner for Jack Ross' side.

Second-half goals from Jamie Redman and Nicky Riley gave Peterhead a first Ladbrokes League One win of the season as they beat Queen's Park 2-0.

Darren Miller squandered the opportunity to put the visitors ahead when he smashed his ninth-minute penalty against the crossbar after midfielder Kevin Dzierzawski fouled Paul Woods in the area.

Midfielder Redman got on the end of Steven Noble's corner to head the opener past goalkeeper Andrew Murphy two minutes into the second half.

Forward Riley then took...

Chris Erskine set the home side on their way after only seven minutes, then set up Liam Lindsay to seal a commanding victory for the Jags.

The League One side threatened little against their Premiership opponents, and defeat for the near neighbours sees them eliminated from the cup at the first hurdle.

Queen's Park have been promoted to Scottish League One after they clung on to beat 10-man Clyde 3-2 on aggregate despite a 1-0 defeat in the final second leg at Hampden Park.

Barry Ferguson's Clyde were attempting to overcome a two-goal deficit and took the lead in the 33rd minute when Ryan McGeever's handball allowed Scott Linton to score from the spot.

The visitors' chances of a second goal to force extra-time were dealt a blow when Michael Bolochoweckyj was shown a second yellow card for a foul...

Hibernian and Falkirk will play a winner-takes-all Ladbrokes Premiership play-off semi-final second leg after an entertaining 2-2 draw at Easter Road.

Bairns striker Lee Miller gave the visitors a 33rd-minute lead when he inadvertently diverted in a Tom Taiwo drive.

Alan Stubbs' side came storming out in the second half and levelled in the 57th minute though midfielder Liam Henderson before defender Darren McGregor, who had scored the crucial goal in the 2-1 aggregate win in the quarter-final against...
