U.S. international Michael Orozco joins Club Tijuana from from Puebla FC

Michael Orozco is a native of Orange, Calif.

United States international defender Michael Orozco has joined Club Tijuana, the Liga MX club announced on Friday. The 29-year-old makes the move from Puebla FC.

Orozco, who began his professional career with San Luis and has also played in MLS for Philadelphia, will be reunited at the Xolos with Ruben Omar Romano, who was his manager last season at Puebla.

Puebla send Cuauhtemoc Blanco out on top in 4-2 win vs. Chivas

At 42 years old, Mexico legend Cuauhtemoc Blanco drew the curtain down on his career by lifting a trophy, as Puebla defeated Chivas 4-2 in the Copa MX final on Tuesday.

Blanco came off the bench in the 70th minute to rapturous applause and the team was able to hold on to its two-goal lead, with Chivas' Aldo de Nigris putting a late penalty wide.

Mexico legend Cuauhtemoc Blanco, set to retire from the game on Tuesday night, is looking to go out on a high note as his Puebla team hosts Chivas de Guadalajara in the Copa MX final (8:50 p.m. ET, ESPN Deportes/WatchESPN).

Herculez Gomez blasts Ventura Alvarado for Mexico, U.S. comments

United States Men's National team head coach, Jurgen Klinsmann notes that he remains optimistic for the future of the USMNT despite the disappointing run of recent results.

U.S. and Puebla forward Herculez Gomez blasted Club America's Ventura Alvarado for not having a sense of nationalism and said the 22-year-old should keep his indecision to himself about playing for either Mexico or the United States rather than involve the media.
