Inter Milan's unbeaten record this season was almost ended by third-division Pordenone in the Coppa Italia on Tuesday night, only for a dramatic penalty shootout ended in the Serie A side's favour.

Inter Milan scraped into the Coppa Italia quarterfinals after the Serie A leaders were taken to penalties by third-division Pordenone on Tuesday.

Pordenone goalkeeper Simone Perilli pulled off several saves in regulation time to keep the game scoreless and he almost proved to be the hero during the shootout, stopping two penalties.
