Didier Drogba shows off new bald look

Didier Drogba has unveiled a new look, with the Ivorian shaving his flowing locks in favour of a bald head.

Drogba, 39, scored 164 goals in 381 games across two spells at Chelsea and won four Premier League titles, four FA Cups, three League Cups and one Champions League during his time at the club. All while sporting a lengthy style -- usually accompanied by a headband.

However, to celebrate the birth of his son Isaac, who was born on Dec. 15, 2000, he has changed his look.

Didier Drogba has joined the board of Ivorian side Williamsville Athetic Club as the former Chelsea striker prepares his post-playing career.

Drogba, 39, announced to French media last month he expects 2018 to be the year in which he finally hangs up his boots.

The Phoenix Rising forward and owner has already taken steps to ensure he remains involved in football by contributing to "the organisational and financial development" of WAC, based in the Ivorian capital Abidjan.

Didier Drogba made his professional debut at Le Mans in 1998.

Didier Drogba will finally hang up his boots in 2018 as he prepares to bring his 20-year professional career to an end, the former Chelsea striker has told RMC.

After leaving Montreal Impact following the end of the 2016 Major League Soccer season, Drogba, 39, became the first player-owner in the history of the game when he took over United Soccer League outfit Phoenix Rising FC in 2017.

Florent Malouda open to Didier Drogba linkup at Phoenix Rising

Florent Malouda has opened the door to a reunion with former Chelsea teammate Didier Drogba at United Soccer League side Phoenix Rising.

Drogba, 39, became a player-owner of the USL outfit in April after ending his two-season stint at Montreal Impact, and is hopeful of pushing his new side into Major League Soccer.
