Peterborough are not expected to change their squad for the Sky Bet League One clash with Rotherham.

Posh won 4-1 at Bristol Rovers last weekend and remain without Callum Chettle, Ricky Miller and Jermaine Anderson.

Chettle's hamstring injury is not as bad as first feared, while Miller is still serving a six-match suspension for biting during his time at former club Dover.

Anderson is back in training but is still three weeks away from match fitness.

Rotherham boss Paul Warne will revert back to his...

Jack Marriott scored a hat-trick as Peterborough made it maximum points from their opening two League One matches with an impressive 4-1 victory at Bristol Rovers.

Posh took a sixth-minute lead when Ryan Sweeney failed to clear a cross from Gwion Edwards and Marriott pounced to fire home from close range.

A Junior Morais pass set up strike partner Marriott to score his second in the 55th minute and Steven Taylor forced the ball over the line for a third with 12 minutes remaining after Jack Baldwin...

Barnet delivered a League Cup upset with a 3-1 win at Peterborough.

Jean-Louis Akpa-Akpro opened the scoring for the League Two side and, despite Gwion Edwards' leveller, Mauro Vilnete and a penalty from former Peterborough striker Shaquile Coulthirst won it for the visitors.

Barnet started brightly with David Tutonda hitting the post from 25 yards and Coulthirst having a shot saved by home goalkeeper Jonathan Bond.

Akpa-Akpro then found the roof of the net after 22 minutes following a header across...

Peterborough striker Marcus Maddison makes spitting accusation

Peterborough striker Marcus Maddison has alleged he was spat at during Saturday's League One victory over Plymouth.

Posh began the new season with a 2-1 win at the ABAX Stadium but Maddison was left fuming.

He wrote on Twitter: "For a fellow professional to spit on me while I'm down injured is a joke. Hope he is fined or banned. This ain't league 2 no more."

Maddison received treatment after going down in the build-up to Plymouth's goal in the 76th minute.

A Peterborough spokesman told the Peterborough...

Promoted Plymouth made a losing return to League One as they suffered a 2-1 setback at Peterborough.

The Pilgrims fell behind just four minutes into their opening fixture of the season when a Leo Da Silva Lopes cross took a wicked deflection off Gary Sawyer - who was credited with an own goal - and flummoxed goalkeeper Luke McCormick.

Plymouth conceded again two minutes into the second period as their appeals for a foul were ignored after Posh debutant Jack Marriott robbed defender Sonny Bradley. Marriott...
