Partizan Belgrade illustrates how much Serbia has given football

ESPN FC's Gab Marcotti explains what's next for Serbia and Albania after Tuesday's pitch altercation.

It feels like the worst day for a chat with Momcilo Vukotic, but perhaps it is actually the best. The time is just before 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 15, just 12 hours since Serbia's match with Albania, a few miles down the road at Partizan Belgrade's own stadium, was abandoned amid barely fathomable scenes of provocation and violence. Nobody has slept much, if at all. But into this smartly appointed room in the fashionable Belgrade suburb of Zemun walks Vukotic, 64 years old now and still Partizan's...

UEFA punishes Partizan Belgrade over anti-Semitic banner vs. Spurs

Tottenham took one point away in Belgrade against Partizan, the only good thing in a boring draw in the kick off of their Europa League group stage.

UEFA has ordered Partizan Belgrade to play their next Europa League home game with a partial closure of their stadium after an anti-Semitic banner was displayed in their fixture against Tottenham.

The sign was branded as unacceptable by Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino after the game on Sept. 18.

UEFA has acted and told Partizan that their next fixture against Besiktas will be played with the 'K' section of their stadium shut. The club have also been fined 40,000 euros.

Partizan stopper Milan Lukac was the first of the two goalkeepers to make a save as he...

Partizan Belgrade issue apology over offensive banner; UEFA investigating

Tottenham took one point away in Belgrade against Partizan, the only good thing in a boring draw in the kick off of their Europa League group stage.

Partizan Belgrade have issued an apology after a number of their fans displayed an anti-Semitic banner during Thursday's Europa League draw with Tottenham.

UEFA confirmed on Friday afternoon that it will address the matter at the start of next month in a statement that read:  "Disciplinary proceedings have been opened against FK Partizan for racist behaviour of their supporters, field invasions by supporters, setting-off of fireworks and use of laser pointer. The case will be dealt by the UEFA...
