With Adnan Januzaj and Javier Hernandez leaving Manchester United this season, perhaps Louis Van Gaal has finally assembled a squad who believe in his philosophy.

Angel Di Maria can help PSG in Champions League - Real's Varane

While Gabriele Marcotti wants to discuss PSG's financial fair play in signing Angel di Maria, ESPN FC's Craig Burley is focused on the Argentine's inability to play for a team that isn't dominating their league.

Raphael Varane has backed his former Real Madrid teammate Angel Di Maria to improve Paris Saint-Germain's chances of winning the Champions League.

France defender Varane, 22, won the competition at Real along with Di Maria in 2014, after which the Argentine left for Manchester United.

Following a disappointing season in England, Di Maria, 27, made a €63 million move to PSG and starred on his debut in their 3-0 win at Monaco on Sunday.

Speaking ahead of France's game in Portugal on Friday, Varane...

Paris Saint-Germain full-back Gregory van der Wiel has revealed his frustration over apparently being punished for refusing to take part in a postmatch warm down.

Van der Wiel, 27, contradicted his club when he tweeted that he was fit to play despite being left out of the squad for a game in Montpellier on Aug. 21.

PSG boss Laurent Blanc said after that match that it was "bizarre" that the Netherlands international would do so, since he had trained on his own in the week leading up to it.

Angel Di Maria blames Louis van Gaal philosophy for Manchester United exit

PSG head coach Laurent Blanc is satisfied that Angel Di Maria is adapting to life in the French capital following his transfer from Manchester United.

Angel Di Maria has claimed he had rows with Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal and suggested that he struggled to comprehend the Dutch tactician's philosophy during his time at Old Trafford.

Di Maria left United to join Paris Saint-Germain just a year after his British record £59.7 million move from Real Madrid, with the Argentine winger struggling to make his mark during his solitary season in the Premier League.

In his first comments on his apparent rift with Van Gaal, Di Maria told...

Angel Di Maria delighted with Paris Saint-Germain debut

PSG beat Monaco 3-0, Saint Etienne see off Bastia in a fiery affair and Bordeaux were victorious against Nantes.

Angel Di Maria revealed his delight at having "the opportunity to play with the best" after setting up a goal on his Paris Saint-Germain debut.

Di Maria, 27, came off the bench after 66 minutes against Monaco on Sunday and having seen Edinson Cavani nearly score from his first pass, the €63 million signing from Manchester United then teed up Ezequiel Lavezzi to notch a debut assist in a 3-0 win for the French champions.
