Dylan McGowan joins Portuguese Liga side Pacos Ferreira

Dylan McGowan made 82 appearances for Adelaide United over three years, scoring seven goals.

Adelaide United have lost A-League defender Dylan McGowan to a top-flight Portuguese club.

McGowan has signed with Pacos Ferreira in a deal sealed in-principle in January.

"I had bigger-money offers from all over Asia, most notably from Korea," McGowan told Fox Sports.

New Atletico Madrid signing Diogo Jota says he can have a similar impact at the club as Estadio Vicente Calderon and France hero Antoine Griezmann.

Atletico Madrid sign Diogo Jota from Pacos de Ferreira

Atletico Madrid have signed 19-year-old winger Diogo Jota to a five-year contract, the club have announced.

Jota, whose full name is Diogo Jose Teixeira Silva, moves to the club from Pacos de Ferreira in Portugal.

The Portugal under-21 international scored 14 goals and provided 10 assists in all competitions last term, helping Pacos de Ferreira to seventh place.
