Northampton's injury problems continue to grow for Tuesday's Sky Bet League Two visit of Oxford after Lee Collins suffered a trapped nerve in his foot.

The defender missed Saturday's 3-2 defeat at Cheltenham and is a doubt.

Collins joins Zander Diamond (ankle), Marc Richards (hamstring), Ian Morris (knee), Evan Horwood and Lewis Hornby (both tendonitis) on the treatment table.

Goalkeeper Matt Duke, defenders Kelvin Langmead, Gregor Robertson and Ben Tozer and midfielder Darren Carter are available....

A goal in each half brought Oxford a 2-0 win over Tranmere in the battle of the bottom two clubs in Sky Bet League Two.

Cambridge produced an emphatic display to beat Oxford 5-1 and secure back-to-back wins for the first time this season.

Danny Hylton headed in Tom Newey's cross after nine minutes to give Oxford the lead, but the hosts dominated from then on.

Kwesi Appiah rattled the crossbar from distance and then netted the equaliser three minutes before the break, thumping past Ryan Clarke from Ryan Donaldson's through ball, before giving his side the lead on the stroke of half time at the second attempt following...

Struggling Oxford survived for most of the second half with 10 men to beat Newport 1-0 at the Kassam Stadium, inflicting on County their first defeat in eight games.

Striker Tyrone Barnett was dismissed on 55 minutes for a second yellow card, following a late challenge on Darren Jones.

But Michael Appleton's team held on, after going ahead through Michael Collins' 41st-minute goal, for only their second league win of the season.

Collins found the net with a long-range free-kick that sailed past 'keeper...

Luton made it four games unbeaten as they emerged 2-0 winners over Oxford in Sky Bet League Two.

The hosts took the lead after just 80 seconds when defender Luke Wilkinson rose highest to nod home Jake Howells' cross. And Howells himself added a second after the break to send the U's into the bottom two.

Pelly Ruddock then should have had a second moments after Wilkinson's opener, only to slam wide of the mark with just U's keeper George Long to beat.

The visitors threatened from long range in the opening...
