Cardiff maintained their fine form against Nottingham Forest, as goals from Kenwyne Jones and Joe Mason secured a 2-1 win at the City Ground and left Dougie Freedman to lament his side's lack of cutting edge once more.

David Marshall made a string of fine saves in this Sky Bet Championship contest to enhance his reputation - and price tag - before finally being beaten by Michail Antonio in the 86th minute.

However, Russell Slade's side still hung on for their sixth win in seven meetings between the...

West Ham bid for Nottingham Forest star Michail Antonio - sources

Michail Antonio has also attracted offers from West Brom and Derby this summer.

West Ham have made a bid for Nottingham Forest winger Michail Antonio, offering £5 million plus Matt Jarvis, sources have told ESPN FC.

Antonio's future at Forest has been the subject of speculation all summer with a number of clubs in the Premier League and Championship chasing his signature.

The 25-year-old, who moved to the City Ground from Sheffield Wednesday last year, was one of the top performers in the Championship last season, starting all 46 league games and scoring 14 league goals.

Stephen Dobbie broke Bolton's goal drought to earn Wanderers a 1-1 Skybet Championship draw against former boss Dougie Freedman at the Macron Stadium

The former Crystal Palace striker struck late in stoppage time after David Vaughan fired Forest in front 10 minutes from time.

Gary Madine also missed a 48th-minute penalty for Bolton as they scored for the first time since April 18 having created an unwanted club record of six games without a goal.

Dobbie's low finish from 18 yards for his first goal...

Two outstanding saves from Dorus de Vries earned Nottingham Forest a point from a 0-0 Sky Bet Championship draw at the City Ground, on a night when Charlton threatened to snatch all three.

Forest dominated possession for long spells, but it was the Addicks who had the better of the chances, with the Reds' Dutch keeper denying Simon Makienok and Patrick Bauer in the space of two minutes - with the second stop truly world class, as he swatted away the defender's close range header.

Rotherham's miserable run against Nottingham Forest continued as Dougie Freedman's side came from behind to claim a 2-1 win at the City Ground.

Steve Evans' side looked on course to end a run of 16 games without a win over Forest - stretching back to 1956 - after Danny Collins had put them into the lead with a 13th-minute header against his former club.

But Matt Mills headed home in first-half injury-time and Michail Antonio's third goal in two matches helped to complete the recovery for the Reds in...
