Ikechi Anya is set to return to the Watford squad for the visit of Nottingham Forest.

The Scotland winger missed Saturday's 3-0 win at Sheffield Wednesday - which took the Hornets to the top of the table - due to a calf injury but he was back in training on Monday and is available.

Striker Troy Deeney came on as a late sub at Hillsborough after a month out with a hamstring injury and, having suffered no reaction, he will be involved again.

Craig Cathcart and Keith Andrews will miss out with calf problems...

Russell Slade enjoyed a dream debut as Cardiff manager as his side ended Nottingham Forest's unbeaten record in the Sky Bet Championship with a 2-1 win at Cardiff City Stadium.

The former Leyton Orient manager has had to wait a long time to lead his new side, due to legal wranglings and the international break, but it proved to be worth it.

Federico Macheda's first league goal in Cardiff colours gave them a 22nd-minute lead, with Peter Whttingham firing home the second five minutes later.

Michail Antonio celebrates his equaliser for Nottingham Forest.

Michail Antonio struck deep into injury-time as Nottingham Forest preserved their unbeaten run in the Championship with a 2-2 draw against Ipswich.

Daryl Murphy's brace, either side of Robert Tesche's equaliser for Forest, looked as though it was going to inflict a first league defeat on Stuart Pearce's side.

But Antonio dramatically headed in Henri Lansbury's corner four minutes into added-on time to deny Town maximum points.

The Reds brought Matty Fryatt back into the starting line-up in place...

Nottingham Forest missed the chance to regain top spot in the Sky Bet Championship as Wigan shook off some of their early-season rust to claim a credible point in a 0-0 draw.

Leaders Norwich lost against unbeaten Charlton to keep the door ajar for Stuart Pearce's men, but they failed to capitalise to leave them with just one win in their last six in all competitions.

Both of these sides were predicted to be challenging for the title this season, but Forest arrived in Lancashire 11 points clear of their...

Nottingham Forest were knocked off top spot in the Sky Bet Championship after Brighton held them to a goalless draw at the City Ground.

The Reds have beaten Brighton only once in the last eight meetings between the two sides - and Stuart Pearce's side rarely looked like adding to that tally on Saturday.

With Norwich winning 3-1 at Blackpool, Forest slipped down into second place in the table, following a game in which they rarely found their attacking threat.

Brighton had not lost in four previous visits...
