FA Cup quarter-finalists Reading fell to a third successive home defeat in the Championship when they lost 3-0 against a resurgent Nottingham Forest.

After dominating much of the first half, Reading were sunk by three second-half goals as Forest stretched their unbeaten run to six matches.

Ben Osborn lashed in the opener from long distance and Matty Fryatt added a second from close range. Forest reserved their best for last when, 10 minutes from time, substitute Gary Gardner scored with a fierce 30-yard...

Henri Lansbury's fine goal won the game for Forest.

Dougie Freedman's honeymoon period shows no signs of abating as his Nottingham Forest side recovered from an early setback to beat title-chasing Bournemouth 2-1 at the City Ground.

Andrew Surman fired the Cherries into a third-minute lead, but Forest are a different animal these days and stormed back to claim their fourth win in five games under Freedman thanks to goals from Jamaal Lascelles and Henri Lansbury and deliver another blow to the visitors' automatic promotion hopes.

Dougie Freedman maintained his impressive start as Nottingham Forest manager as his side inflicted a painful 4-1 defeat on Bolton, the club that parted company with him back in October.

Two goals from Chris Burke, a solo effort from Michail Antonio and a Henri Lansbury penalty proved enough to ensure Freedman has now collected 10 points from his first four games in charge.

It was painful in more ways than one for Bolton boss Neil Lennon who saw Tim Ream and Andy Lonergan carried off with bad injuries...

Blackpool manager Lee Clark admitted he missed his side's dramatic late equaliser which salvaged a 4-4 draw against Nottingham Forest because he was arguing with a disgruntled Seasiders fan.

Blackpool would have moved off the bottom of the Championship with a win, but after leading 2-0 they saw Forest fight back in the second half to edge ahead 4-3 in the 95th minute courtesy of Chris Burke's late strike.

Yet even with Tom Aldred sent off - as well as having Darren O'Dea and Andrea Orlandi stricken...

Chris Burke celebrates his goal with his Nottingham Forest teammates.

New Nottingham Forest manager Dougie Freedman enjoyed the near-perfect home debut as he oversaw a 3-0 drubbing of Wigan -- a result that leaves the Latics deep in the relegation mire.

Goals from Britt Assombalonga, Chris Burke and Henri Lansbury maintained Freedman's 100 per cent start to his tenure in the Forest hotseat, although it was not all good news for the former Bolton boss.

Leading scorer Assombalonga, who took his tally to 15 for the season, suffered what could be a season-ending injury...
