Hatem Ben Arfa almost signed for Sevilla but had a late change of heart after being convinced that he had a chance of winning the Champions League with Paris Saint-Germain.

Leicester City sign Nampalys Mendy from OGC Nice on four-year deal

ESPN FC's Paul Mariner is delighted that Jamie Vardy is remaining at Leicester City.

Leicester City have confirmed the signing of midfielder Nampalys Mendy from OGC Nice.

The deal between the clubs, which is still subject to Premier League and FA approval, saw Mendy sign a four-year contract with last season's Premier League title winners for a reported fee of £13 million.

Paris Saint-Germain sign Hatem Ben Arfa on free transfer

Paris Saint-Germain have confirmed the signing of Hatem Ben Arfa on a two-year deal.

Ben Arfa, 29, was out of contract at Nice and the French champions have beaten off competition from a number of European clubs to sign the player.

The France international, who scored 17 goals and provided six assists in Ligue 1 for Nice last season, is thrilled to have made the move to the French capital.

Monaco forward Valere Germain is among 19 players and coaches in France's top two divisions to be handed a suspension for breaking gambling rules.
