Gorocito, Molina suspended by Necaxa after alleged assault and battery

MEXICO CITY -- Two Mexican league players, jailed in connection with a weekend fight that seriously injured a young man, were suspended by their club on Tuesday.

Second-division club Necaxa said via Twitter that Luis Gorocito and Alejandro Molina will be on suspension indefinitely "until their legal situation related to these regrettable incidents reaches a conclusion."

Fancying his chances against opponents Necaxa from kickoff, Mineros striker Gustavo Ramirez duly went and scored the fastest goal in the history of Mexican football when he stepped up and walloped on in from the half-way line with just a shade over three seconds on the clock.
