Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri is refusing to predict how the Serie A title race will play out.

Ahead of Sunday's home meeting with lowly Carpi, the Azzurri lead the table by two points from reigning champions Juventus, who are chasing them down relentlessly having won 13 games in a row.

Napoli have no option but to keep on winning themselves and, although it would be unfair to assume Carpi will roll over at Stadio San Paolo, Sarri's men must be hoping they can extend their own streak to eight straight...

Kalidou Koulibaly racism shows more should be done - former FIGC president

Maurizio Sarri and Stefano Pioli both bemoaned the racist chanting from supporters which saw their Serie A clash suspended.

The former president of the Italian Football Association (FIGC) says more must be done to stamp down on racist behaviour following the incidents at the Stadio Olimpico on Wednesday night.

Giancarlo Abete, who stepped down from the role with the FIGC in June 2014, has praised referee Massimiliano Irrati for suspending a game for almost four minutes after Lazio supporters racially taunted Napoli's Kalidou Koulibaly.

Koulibaly also believes the official made the right call and showed "courage"...

Lazio given partial stadium ban by Lega Serie A for racist chanting

Gonzalo Higuain and Jose Callejon scored three minutes apart as Napoli cruised to a 2-0 win over Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico.

Lazio will have to play their next two Serie A fixtures with part of the Stadio Olimpico closed following incidents of racist chanting in their 2-0 defeat to Napoli on Wednesday.

That fixture was halted for three minutes and 40 seconds in the second half by referee Massimiliano Irrati, who wanted an end to be brought to the chanting from home fans in the direction of Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly. The game proceeded without any further interruption, although some of the chanting continued, according...

Lazio face punishment over racist chants in Napoli defeat

Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly was taunted by Lazio fans during Wednesday's game.

Lazio face the prospect of playing their next two Serie A games with part of the Stadio Olimpico closed after racist chanting overshadowed their 2-0 defeat to Napoli on Wednesday night.

The Serie A fixture had to be stopped for several minutes by the referee after Lazio fans constantly barracked Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly with racial taunts and monkey noises.

Jose Callejon celebrates after doubling Napoli's lead vs. Lazio.

Gonzalo Higuain's 23rd goal of the season propelled Serie A leaders Napoli down a path to securing a 2-0 victory at Lazio.

The in-form Argentine striker made it seven goals from his last five league outings in the first half of Wednesday night's game at the Stadio Olimpico, with Jose Callejon doubling the visitors' lead only a few minutes later.

While Napoli celebrated preserving their two-point advantage over Juventus, mid-table Lazio offered little by way of response and watched their seven-match...
