Schalke sign France starlet Amine Harit from Nantes for reported €10m

Amine Harit has completed his move to Schalke.

Schalke have signed highly rated France under-20 midfielder Amine Harit from Nantes in a deal reportedly worth up to €10 million.

The Bundesliga club say the 20-year-old Harit has signed a four-year deal.

Schalke coach Domenico Tedesco said in a statement: "Amine is a technically experienced player with strong dribbling skills who is also good in defense. He often looks for offensive solutions and can therefore make the difference."

Nigeria defender Chidozie Awaziem has joined FC Nantes from FC Porto.

Awaziem, 20, joins the French club on a one-year loan deal, the club announced on their website on Wednesday.

Awaziem has made two appearances for Nigeria, the first in a 1-1 friendly against Corsica and his full debut in the Super Eagles' 2-0 African Nations Cup qualifying loss to South Africa.

Awaziem spoke about the move in an Instagram post, describing it as a "New focus. New objective."
