Albion stretched their unbeaten run to three games after playing out a 0-0 draw with Montrose in Scottish League Two.

Forward Leighton McIntosh created the first chance of the match when his rasping shot tested the hands of Rovers goalkeeper Neil Parry.

At the other end Scott Chaplain had the ball in the net for Albion but his strike was ruled out for offside.

Stuart McKenzie then had to be alert to parry away Ross Davidson's left-footed effort inside the penalty area.

Ross McCord wasted a great opportunity...

Queen's Park maintained their chase for automatic promotion after edging out Morton 2-1 at Links Park.

Forward John Carter put the visitors in front after 25 minutes with a delightful finish past goalkeeper Stuart McKenzie.

They extended their lead 12 minutes later after midfielder Darren Miller's corner was headed in by Paul Woods at the back post.

McKenzie then pulled off a brilliant finger-tip save from Ciaran McElroy's shot to deny Queen's Park a third on the stroke of half-time.

Jon McShane's 90th-minute penalty secured East Fife a 3-0 win over Montrose at New Bayview.

At the start of play, the Fifers had only won two of their last 10 matches in Scottish League Two and the win helped them retain fourth place.

Bryan Deasley could have put the visitors into the lead with a great chance inside the penalty area, but squandered his chance, hitting it high over the bar. Ross Campbell put Gary Naysmith's men in front, as he neatly dispatched Kevin Smith's low pass, and Smith doubled...

Montrose ended a nine-game wait for a victory by coming from behind to see off Berwick 2-1 at Links Park.

Having lost four of their last five, it looked like the same old story for the hosts when Andrew Russell's right-footed finish broke the deadlock on the half-hour mark.

On the stroke of half-time, however, the struggling Gable Endies drew level when Bryan Deasley fired home from a Ross McCord corner.

Seven minutes after the break, the reactions of Michael Andrews denied Leighton McIntosh before...

David McKenna scored twice as East Stirling claimed an impressive 4-0 win against Montrose.

McKenna opened the scoring when he prodded home from a corner and the home side doubled their advantage when a mis-hit shot from McKenna fell perfectly into the path of Luke Donnelly and he fired home.

Max Wright made it three as he slammed the ball into the top corner from six yards after more good work from McKenna.

And East Stirling's man of the match wrapped up the points with a low drive from William Vidler's...
