PSG manager Laurent Blanc says his side still need to settle into the Ligue 1 season physically, despite claiming their third consecutive victory with a 1-0 win at Montpellier.

Blaise Matuidi scored his second goal of the season as Paris Saint-Germain made it three league wins out of three with a 1-0 victory against bottom club Montpellier.

Matuidi had scored in the 2-0 win over Ajaccio in week two, and came up with the goods from close range in the 61st minute at Montpellier's Stade de la Mosson.

It was a very open game in which either team could have broken the deadlock in the first half, but somehow the sides went into the break goalless.

PSG were dealt a blow early...

In a game of few chances it looked as if Rennes would rue the moment ex-Aston Villa midfielder Yacouba Sylla fired wide.

But Grosicki would settle the contest with his lofted effort from out on the right...

The newly promoted visitors made the perfect start when the ball fell to Abdoul Camara inside the area on three minutes and he fired confidently across Geoffrey Jourdren.

Angers' Gilles Sunu and Ismael Traore were guilty of wasting excellent opportunities either side of the break, but it was former Arsenal man Sunu who wrapped up the points late on.

The 24-year-old needed no second...

Ligue 1 transfer sales 'disgust' Montpellier coach Rolland Courbis

Former French international Frank LeBouef discusses the expectations for Paris Saint-Germain ahead of the 2015/16 Ligue 1 season.

Montpellier coach Rolland Courbis has warned Ligue 1 clubs they must do something to stem the flood of talent being "pillaged" from French football, notably by Premier League sides.

Jordan and Andre Ayew, Jordan Amavi, Idrissa Gueye, Dimitri Payet, Franck Tabanou, Jordan Veretout and N'Golo Kante have all left Ligue 1 to cross the Channel with Max Gradel set to join them.

With nearly a month of the transfer window left, more are likely to follow, notably last season's Ligue 1 leading scorer Alexandre...
