Benjamin Moukandjo's last-gasp strike gave Reims a 1-0 win over Montpellier at the Stade Auguste Delaune as they moved four points clear of the Ligue 1 drop zone.

Moukandjo's brilliant solo effort in the 90th minute was worthy of winning any match, but Montpellier boss Rolland Courbis will feel aggrieved after his side were on top for long periods and had responded well to their 5-1 hammering at Lyon last time out.

Lyon made full use of their unexpected home advantage as they routed Montpellier 5-1 to move up to fourth place in Ligue 1.

Yoann Gourcuff scored twice, either side of Nabil Fekir's strike, while late goals from Alexandre Lacazette and Steed Malbranque turned it into a thrashing.

Siaka Tiene had scored for Montpellier early in the second half, but his team were already three down at the time.

Montpellier stadium devastated by floods; club look for new home

La Mosson Stadium has seen some devastation.

Montpellier have been left looking for a temporary home after their La Mosson Stadium was flooded for the second time in a week.

Torrential rain on Monday night into Tuesday has caused chaos at the ground, which also suffered some damage during a spell of wet weather last week.

Pictures on the club's official website show the devastation caused by the latest flood waters, which reportedly peaked at three metres and have left much of the ground coated in thick mud.
