Houston Dynamo acquires Darwin Quintero from Minnesota United

Seattle beat Toronto FC 3-1 to secure their second MLS Cup win in franchise history.

The Houston Dynamo have acquired midfielder Darwin Quintero from Minnesota United, it was announced on Wednesday.

The Loons will receive $300,000 of General Allocation Money (GAM) and $300,000 of Targeted Allocation Money (TAM) spread out evenly over the next two years, as well as utility player Marlon Hairston. Houston will also receive a third-round pick in the 2020 MLS SuperDraft.

Minnesota United's Vito Mannone is the 2019 MLS Goalkeeper of the Year.

Mannone, 31, finished second in the league in saves (129) and conceded the third-fewest goals in the Western Conference (43). He registered 11 shutouts and put together a 259-minute shutout streak.
