Millwall request larger ticket allocation for Tottenham FA Cup quarterfinal

Steve Nicol believes Tottenham will finally finish above Arsenal for the first time since the 1994/1995 season.
Mauricio Pochettino says it was important for Spurs to rediscover the feeling of winning in their FA Cup win over Fulham.
Steve Nicol is critical of Spurs' inability to make up for the current struggles of Harry Kane and Dele Alli.

Millwall have requested more tickets for the FA Cup quarterfinal at Tottenham next month after the Premier League club made an initial offer of 2,800.

The League One club want the same amount as Aston Villa and Wycombe Wanderers, who both received an away allocation of just over 4,000 for the third- and fourth-round matches at White Hart Lane.

FA Cup rules say away clubs can receive up to 15 percent of the home capacity, which stands at around 4,750 at White Hart Lane, where the capacity has been...

Millwall missed their chance to move into the Sky Bet League One play-off places after playing out a goalless draw with second-bottom Chesterfield at The Den.

Three days after stunning Premier League champions Leicester to reach the FA Cup quarter-finals, the Lions struggled to hit top gear against their relegation-threatened opponents.

Clinical finishes were hard to come by, although the hosts did extend their unbeaten run to 14 games and moved to within one point of sixth-placed Bradford.

FA Cup rules allow away clubs an allocation of up to 15 percent subject to approval from the Safety Advisory Group, made up of the police, council, fire brigade and club.

More than 4,000 Wycombe Wanderers fans attended the...

Millwall celebrate Shaun Cummings' winner.
A late goal put Millwall into the FA Cup quarterfinals.

Leicester City have filed an official complaint with the Football Association over the actions of Millwall fans in Saturday's FA Cup clash.

And a Leicester City spokesman said: "We have personally congratulated Millwall on a merited victory and wish them every success in the sixth round.

"However, following receipt of numerous complaints relating to the constant abuse, provocation and intimidation...

Heroes & Villains: Lincoln revive magic of the FA Cup, shame on Leicester

Has the FA Cup lost its magic? Shaka Hislop certainly feels that could be the case with how it's played out this season.
Nonleague Lincoln fully deserve their place in history after reaching the quarterfinals.

Another wild weekend in the FA Cup shows that English football's oldest cup competition is doing just fine. Iain Macintosh looks back at the best and worst performances.

HEROES

They are the first nonleague team to reach the FA Cup sixth round since 1914, and they might just be responsible for the greatest shock in the history of the competition. On Saturday afternoon, Lincoln City of the National League went to the home of Premier League Burnley and beat them with a dramatic goal in the dying...
