James Meredith rescued a point for promotion-chasing Bradford in a 1-1 draw with in-form Millwall.

Meredith tapped home Mark Marshall's pin-point cross on the hour mark to cancel out Lee Gregory's 50th-minute opener.

The Londoners, who stretched their unbeaten run to seven matches in all competitions, had enjoyed the best of the first-half chances.

Steve Morison went close for the visitors with a volley in the fourth minute, before Bradford midfielder Josh Cullen had a shot beaten away by Jordan Archer.

Millwall extended their unbeaten streak to six following a stalemate with play-off chasing Charlton in the south London derby at The Valley.

Lee Gregory had the best chance of the first half, but his lobbed effort just crept wide.

Charlton, who had top-scorer Josh Magennis and debutant Lewis Page withdraw during the opening exchanges through injury, responded with a volleyed effort from Nathan Byrne which tested the palms of Jordan Archer.

After a drab start to the second-half, Millwall were the first...

Millwall: We must be at heart of regeneration plans to avoid relocation

Millwall have been at their current ground since 1993.

The chief executive of League One club Millwall has again said he cannot rule out the possibility of leaving London if land around their stadium is compulsorily purchased and sold on.

Steve Kavanagh said the Lions must be at the centre of plans to redevelop the neighbouring land if they are to be able to remain in the borough of Lewisham.

A crucial council meeting was postponed on Tuesday amid growing fury over plans for land around the Den ground to be compulsorily purchased.

Millwall beat Premier League Bournemouth in the FA Cup.

A crucial council meeting affecting the future of League One Millwall was postponed on Tuesday amid growing fury over plans for land around their ground to be compulsorily purchased and sold on.

Millwall have warned that they could be forced to leave The Den, their south-east London home, and relocate to Kent if Lewisham Council goes ahead with a plan to purchase land and sell it to an offshore developer.

It had been expected that the decision would be confirmed at a meeting on Wednesday -- but...

Bournemouth's Eddie Howe admits regrets after FA Cup defeat to Millwell

Bournemouth's cup run ended after a much-changed side lost at Millwall.

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe admitted he regretted making 11 changes to his team as they crashed out of the FA Cup with a 3-0 loss to Millwall on Satyrda.

The Cherries appear comfortable in ninth place in the Premier League but they were without their usual fluidity after Howe changed out his entire side.

Asked if he regretted doing so, Howe responded: "In hindsight with the result, yes, but though I haven't been forced, my hands are tied a little bit.

"We are so stretched, the Premier League...
