Melbourne Victory and Australian Olympic centre-back Thomas Deng has earned a loan move to Dutch club PSV Eindhoven.

The Kenyan-born teenager will spend the 2016-17 season with the Eredivisie champions, who have an option to make his shift permanent.

Deng, 19, shot to prominence in Victory's last A-League campaign, impressing in 13 appearances for Kevin Muscat's side after a full debut in front of 40,000 fans in a Melbourne derby win.

Melbourne Victory will host UEFA Champions League finalists Atletico Madrid in a preseason match at Geelong's Simonds Stadium in July.

The Spanish club, who are already scheduled to play Tottenham Hotspur at the MCG next month, will take on the three-time A-League champions on July 31 to cap off their Australian tour.

Melbourne Victory have snapped up former Olyroos defender James Donachie on a one-season A-League deal.
