Malaga boss Javi Gracia: Goal against Sevilla 'should have been valid'

ESPN FC's Santiago Solari believes that Sevilla and Valencia will challenge Atletico Madrid for third place in La Liga.
Former Atletico Madrid man Santiago Solari contends that Diego Simeone's energy will be a determining factor in how Atletico play this season as they look to fend off Sevilla and Valencia.

Malaga coach Javi Gracia felt his side were incorrectly denied what could have been a match-winning goal against Sevilla after seeing Charles' late strike ruled out for offside.

However, despite creating a number of openings, Malaga could not find a way past the 10 men of Los Nervionenses...

Emery expects Krychowiak to stay

Sevilla open the Primera Division campaign at Malaga on Friday with coach Unai Emery optimistic that Grzegorz Krychowiak will remain at the club.

The Poland international is a reported target of Arsenal and could leave if his 30 million euros buy-out clause is met.

The 25-year-old defensive midfielder is under contract with Sevilla for another three seasons and may feature at La Rosaleda in his team's league opener.

"I see him really integrated in our group," Emery said in Thursday's press conference....
