Alexandre Lacazette would succeed at Liverpool, Arsenal, says Aly Cissokho

Lacazette leads the Ligue 1 scoring charts with 17 goals, five more than Marseille's Andre-Pierre Gignac.

Alexandre Lacazette has the quality to succeed at Liverpool or Arsenal should the free-scoring forward move to England, his former Lyon teammate Aly Cissokho believes.

Lacazette, 23, has reportedly caught the eye of the Premier League duo after scoring 17 goals in the first half of the season in Ligue 1 to help his club into second place, behind Marseille but ahead of defending champions Paris Saint-Germain.

Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has stated his determination to keep Lacazette at the club...

Marseille and Lyon show Paris Saint-Germain what they're missing

Lyon manager Hubert Fournier urged his players to keep their feet on the ground following their superb 5-0 victory over Bordeaux.

Rebranding for an international audience, the phrase introduced by Paris Saint-Germain's Qatari owners as a bilingual French/English motto has become omnipresent around the club, and in the French football landscape in the last few years: Revons plus grand -- "Dream bigger." With Monaco shelving their own hopes with the summer sales of Radamel Falcao and James Rodriguez, many feared a Parisian procession to the title this season.

What PSG (or, in fact, anybody) can't have imagined was their...

Alexandre Lacazette: Could the Lyon forward spark Liverpool's firepower?

Alexandre Lacazette has scored 17 Ligue 1 goals for Lyon so far this season.

Alexandre Lacazette scored his third consecutive league double in Lyon's convincing 5-0 win away to Bordeaux on Sunday. It was the club's fourth consecutive victory and saw them move ahead of Paris Saint-Germain into second in Ligue 1. While the likes of Corentin Tolisso, Jordan Ferri and Nabil Fekir have all impressed for Hubert Fournier's young, vibrant and largely homegrown side, Lacazette has been the undoubted star of the campaign.

Of Guadeloupean descent, Lacazette was born and raised in Lyon....

Lyon 'will not sell' Alexandre Lacazette to Liverpool - Jean-Michel Aulas

Alexandre Lacazette's goal-scoring form has led to speculation about interest in his signature.

Jean-Michel Aulas has told L'Equipe Lyon will stand firm in the face of growing interest in striker Alexandre Lacazette and will not sell the in-form France international.

Lacazette, 23, has struck a league-leading 17 goals in the first half of the Ligue 1 season in France, transforming himself from promising youngster into a bona fide star.

His impressive performances have led to reported interest in him from clubs beyond France's borders with Liverpool, seeking goals in the wake of Luis Suarez's...

Nabil Fekir 'would leave Lyon for Arsenal, but not Manchester City'

Lyon manager Hubert Fournier urged his players to keep their feet on the ground following their superb 5-0 victory over Bordeaux.

Nabil Fekir's father has told Le Parisien his son will only leave Lyon for Arsenal, adding that the attacking midfielder would not sign for a club like Manchester City if he was not going to play regularly.

Fekir, 21, has stepped in to cover admirably this season with Clement Grenier and Yoann Gourcuff blighted by injuries, transforming himself from a bit-part player to first-choice regular under Hubert Fournier at the Stade de Gerland.

The France under-21 international scored his seventh goal of...
